American personnel conducted an even larger number of interrogations that involved “cruel, inhuman, or degrading” treatment. Both categories of actions violate U.S. laws and international treaties. Such conduct was directly counter to values of the Constitution and our nation.

There is no firm or persuasive evidence that the widespread use of harsh interrogation techniques by U.S. forces produced significant information of value. There is substantial evidence that much of the information adduced from the use of such techniques was not useful or reliable.

120 people were killed by a single fire in the Kinglake Area alone.

This is an interesting question, because Tumblr is largely reblogs of cat GIFs. I will often write posts that are SEVERAL PARAGRAPHS long, and sometimes, straight-up, multi-page essays.

When I first joined Tumblr I remember thinking maybe that was wrong or bad, since I was new to the community…

I think you get to decide what Tumblr is for, and if someone else has a problem with that, they can direct their complaints to that brick wall over there.
